- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels to help the seasoning stick and encourage a golden crust during cooking.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Rub the garlic herb mixture over both sides of the chicken pieces. Let the chicken rest for about 20 minutes so the flavors absorb.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil. Once hot, place the chicken in the pan.
- Cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken for up to 4 hours before cooking. You can bake, grill, or pan-sear this recipe depending on your preference. Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, pasta, or potatoes for a complete meal. Leftovers can be sliced and used in wraps, salads, or grain bowls.
